The Penelope Crossbody celebrates the enduring legacy of Harris Tweed®, a cloth protected by Act of Parliament since 1993 and handwoven by skilled artisans in the Outer Hebrides for over a century. Each metre of this remarkable fabric is created at the homes of island weavers, continuing an unbroken tradition of Scottish craftsmanship that has earned global recognition.
Paired with the Harris Tweed® flap is organic dry oilskin in a rich magenta hue, a traditional working fabric trusted for generations by fishermen, farmers and outdoor workers across Britain. Naturally water-resistant and remarkably durable, oilskin has been valued for centuries for its ability to withstand the harshest weather whilst developing its own character over time. This honest, hardwearing material brings practical heritage to contemporary design.
Finished with a custom lining in my exclusive Penelope print, featuring delicate hand-drawn florals on water-resistant canvas, this bag is handmade in my home-based studio in South Wales. It honours tradition whilst embracing individuality, a piece that carries your essentials whilst telling a story of authentic British craftsmanship.
Each bag is cut, sewn and finished by me, and carries its own unique manufacture code for provenance.

Orders are dispatched from my South Wales studio within 1–3 working days (longer during busy periods – any delays will be shown in the announcement bar).
All parcels are sent tracked and signed with Royal Mail (Tracked 24/48) or DPD Next Day.
Shipping prices are set by the courier, not by me, and are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order.
