THE MAKING PROCESS
Each bag begins its journey in my solar-powered studio in the Rhondda Valleys, where I hand-cut every piece with care. From initial cutting to final stitching, a single bag can take anywhere from 2 to 16 hours to complete - there's no rushing quality craftsmanship. I work in small batches of just 1-3 bags per design, which means I can give each piece the attention it deserves. Every seam is checked, every detail considered, because I know this bag will become someone's trusted companion for years to come.
WHY SMALL BATCH MATTERS
You'll never find my bags mass-produced in a factory. Working in small batches means I can source the finest materials - from Italian leather to organic oilskin from British mills - without compromise. It also means each bag is genuinely unique, with natural leather grain variations and individual pattern placement that makes your bag one-of-a-kind. This approach takes longer and costs more, but it's the only way I know how to create bags that last a lifetime rather than a season.
MATERIALS I LOVE WORKING WITH
Whether you choose leather or vegan-friendly options, every material is carefully selected for both beauty and durability. My veg tanned leather develops a gorgeous patina over time, the chrome tanned leather has better water resistance, whilst my vegan alternatives offer the same luxury feel with complete peace of mind. All bags feature custom water-resistant linings printed exclusively for Emma Easter, because I believe the inside should be as special as the outside.
